FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: klystron-type heavy-duty multibeam UHF instrument contains a solenoid and inside it: an electronic gun, resonator system, a collector, UHF energy input and output, and the electronic gun of the device contains several cathodes, the emitting surface of each of which has a shape of lateral surface of truncated cone the axis of which is parallel to a solenoid axis. The solenoid also surrounds the emitting surfaces of cathodes and creates a uniform longitudinal magnetic field in the field of the resonator system and the emitting surfaces of cathodes, the resonator system contains input, output and intermediate resonators, and also span channels, for each electronic beam, input for UHF energy is designed as a conductor placed along a device axis in the centre of the input resonator and electrically connected to the UHF input coaxial line, the output of UHF energy is designed as waveguide outputs symmetrically located with reference to the device axis. Each of the waveguide outputs is electromagnetically connected through the communication slot with the output resonator, and the collector is designed as a set of individual collectors, for each electronic beam.
EFFECT: increase of pulse and average output power and electrodurability, improvement of mass-dimensional characteristics.
