FIELD: vacuum microwave devices.
SUBSTANCE: in a multibeam klystron, the transit channels are located in the same plane and converge radially towards the center of the klystron; single-beam electron guns are located equidistantly along the periphery of the klystron coaxially with the channels. The klystron ring resonators are located coaxially in one plane and contain an interaction gap and an additional gap located outside the channel area. In the wall of the additional gap, there are communication slots located parallel to the axis of the resonator ring and connecting the resonator with the annular cavity in which the microwave-absorbing material is placed. The transit channels in the area of the output resonator and the collector can be combined into a single annular transit channel.
EFFECT: increase in high output power at a low supply voltage, improvement in weight and size characteristics, and an increase in the service life of the device.
