FIELD: radio engineering, communication.

SUBSTANCE: vehicle radio communication system comprises a notification signal transmitter installed on a special-purpose vehicle. Vehicles of road users are fitted with signal receivers, power supply units, automatic control units, processing units and units for recording information by the recipient. The transmitter is in the form of a radio beacon of non-modulated notification signals, and each of the notification signal receivers includes an antenna unit, which includes differently directed receiving antennae, the outputs of which are connected through a multichannel amplifier unit and a radio beacon signal processing unit with inputs of the unit for recording information by the recipient for automatic display in visual and/or audio form of real-time information on movement of the special-purpose vehicle. The radio beacon signal processing unit is configured to determine, from the difference in signal strength of the receiving antennae, information on the direction of movement and distance from the special-purpose vehicle. The control unit of the notification signal receiver is configured to be automatically turned on when the vehicle engine is started.
