FIELD: medicine; medical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method involves administering relaxation massage to vertebral column muscles including body extension on ramp for eliminating head tilt, displaced shoulder and pelvic girdles and relative lower extremity shortening. Tonic musculoligamentous out-of-balance condition in transversospinal muscles of superior and medial distortion arc portions on convex part and in the inferior portion on concave part as well as paravertebral muscles out-of-balance condition is removed. Reduced thoracic kyphosis and lumbar lordosis are corrected on the background of lasting strain applied to musculoligamentous apparatus and muscle relaxation to reach physiological values. Platypodia is then corrected. Iliolumbar muscles and physical training exercises for dorsal muscles are carried out. The device has rest ladder and removable rollers as well as support ladder and belts for fixing patient position. The rest and support ladders are hingedly connected to each other with one set of ends and the other ends are connected to each other via tie rods of adjustable length hingedly connected to the ladders. The rest ladder deforms in elastic mode and is provided with handle for generating vibrations. The ladders have lockable wheels at tie rod connection places. Flat sections have locks on the edges for being attachable to rest ladder side frames and crossbars. The locks are manufactured as ribbons having fixed pin and oblong holes with covers for receiving a pin. The pins are arrangeable in through holes of lateral side frame and crossbar surfaces of the rest ladder with Velcro lock. Upper crossbars of the rest ladder have flexible washers for hands.
EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment.
