FIELD: fire-fighting equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of fire-extinguishing. The method is implemented using the fire-extinguishing composition that forms the fire-extinguishing agent at high temperature sublimation, and the pyrotechnic aerosol fire-extinguishing agent. The fire-extinguishing composition comprises the fire-extinguishing material which during the heating process can sublimate and release the fire-extinguishing agent having fire-extinguishing properties, in an amount of 90 wt % to 95 wt %, the additive, and the surface-coating agent at a total content of 5 wt % to 10 wt %. The pyrotechnic agent used as a source of heat and energy is ignited to form aerosol. At high temperature reached during the combustion of the pyrotechnic agent, the fire-extinguishing composition is heated, forming a large amount of fire-extinguishing agent which is sprayed together with the aerosol.
EFFECT: compared with currently known aerosol fire-extinguishing systems, gas fire-extinguishing system and fire-extinguishing system based on water the invention does not require pressure during storage, it is safer, less harmful to the environment and has higher fire-extinguishing efficiency.
