FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: rock samples are crushed, the crushed rock is treated with benzo-alcoholic solvent (4:1), kept for 18-20 hours at a temperature of 60°C, settled and filtered. The resulting extract is irradiated with UV light with the resonance mercury lines of 184.9 and 253.6 nm, the luminescence is recorded with the photometer with a set of absorption light filters, the light and heavy fractions of hydrocarbon compounds are determined, the interference of luminescence rocks is eliminated by the shear of the measured luminescence band into the shorter wavelength area.
EFFECT: invention enables to improve the accuracy of determining saturation with oil substances of rocks by improving the accuracy of analysis in extraction on the calibration graphs.
