FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to scientific measuring equipment used for identification and complex analysis of physical and chemical properties of multicomponent liquids. Identification and control of quality parameters of liquids is performed as per special features of a development and relaxation process of thermocapillary response. The device includes a readout laser (power is tenths of mW), a screen onto which thermocapillary response is projected and a horizontal cell containing a liquid sample, into the bottom of which a metallic heat-conducting element penetrating through the cell bottom is tightly built-in. Thermal pulses in liquid are generated at irradiation of the lower light-absorbing surface of the heat-conducting element with a beam of an inducing laser the power of which comprises tenths of mW.

EFFECT: invention allows improving accuracy and reproducibility of measurement results.
