FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to a method for producing linear α-olefins by ethylene oligomerisation in a reactor in the presence of an organic solvent and a homogenous liquid catalyst agent. Ethylene is introduced into the reactor, at least partially, in the liquid aggregate state. Ethylene escapes the reactor in the gaseous state, and is partially condensed. That is followed by forming a two-phase mixture, which is separated in a separator. The liquid phase is fed back to the reactor directly, whereas the gaseous phase after compression is fed back to the reactor in the gaseous phase. A liquid inert gas is additionally introduced into the reactor. The reactor temperature is adjusted by controlling the supplied liquid phase by the volume flow.
EFFECT: reducing the ethylene amount in the circulation loop, as well as reducing deposit formation on the plant components.
