INTRAOCULAR DEVICES AND CORRESPONDING METHODS Russian patent published in 2015 - IPC A61F2/16

Abstract RU 2555115 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to field of medicine. Intraocular system of lenses contains: first lens with dimensions and shape for implantation into posterior eye chamber; and second lens with dimensions and shape for implantation into posterior eye chamber and configured for engagement with first lens. First lens has optic element of positive optic power, which has first optic axis. Second lens has anterior surface and opposite posterior surface. Central part of second lens determines surface optic element of negative optic power, which has second optic axis. Peripheral part of anterior surface determines surface optic element of positive optic power. First lens and second lens are configured in such a way that after introduction into posterior eye chamber first and second lenses are fixed to each other in fixed position to prevent travel of first lens with respect to second lens in response to travel of capsular sac of posterior eye chamber. First and second optic axes are displaced with respect to each other for fixed distance and are shifted relative to each other sideward and/or at angle, when first and second lenses are in engagement, in order to form enlarged shifted from the centre image, which has angular magnification at least 1.5x. Device contains anterior lens and posterior lens. Anterior lens determines optic element of positive optic power, which has first optic axis, so that in combination with eye cornea anterior lens provides posterior focal distance approximately 3.0 mm to 5.0 mm. Posterior lens has anterior surface and opposite posterior surface. Central part of anterior surface determines optic surface of negative optic power, which has second optic axis. Peripheral part of anterior surface determines first optic surface of positive optic power. Central part of posterior surface determines second optic surface of positive optic power. Peripheral part of posterior surface determines third optic surface of positive optic power. First and third optic surface of positive optic power of peripheral parts of anterior and posterior surfaces form monofocal optic element, which has optic power in the range from 6 dioptres to 34 dioptres. Anterior and posterior lenses include haptic elements, made with possibility of displacement of first optic axis relative to second optic axis for distance approximately from 0.05 mm to 0.75 mm, when anterior and posterior lenses are implanted into posterior eye chamber.

EFFECT: application of claimed group of inventions makes it possible to create magnified retinal image.
