FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, specifically to ophthalmology, and is intended for prevention of posterior capsule opacity in lens implantation. Intraocular lens comprises an optic and at least two haptics, each of which comprises a step feature that protrudes from a posterior surface of haptic to prevent posterior capsular opacification. Haptic also comprises stepped element projecting from back surface of haptic.
EFFECT: lens device promotes prevention of fibrotic changes of posterior capsule of lens, that is prevents its opacity, and serves for accurate prediction of position of lens and accurate installation thereof.
