INTRAOCULAR LENS PLATFORM WITH IMPROVED DISTRIBUTION OF HAPTIC ELEMENT PRESSURE Russian patent published in 2022 - IPC A61F2/16

Abstract RU 2777549 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: intraocular lens contains an optical part containing a front surface, a rear surface, and an optical part edge passing between the front surface and the rear surface, wherein the optical part has an optical axis; and haptic elements passing from the periphery of the optical part. In this case, each of haptic elements contains an insert area, a distal area, and a bend area connecting the insert area to the distal area, while the insert area of each of haptic elements passes from the periphery of the optical part and embraces a part of the periphery of the optical part. The thickness of the insert area of each of haptic elements is monotonously increased, when a distance from the periphery of the optical part is increased; and the thickness of the distal area of each of haptic elements is monotonously decreased along the length of the distal area, when a distance from the bend area is increased. In another option of the intraocular lens, the insert area of each of haptic elements passes from the periphery of the optical part and embraces at least seventy degrees of the periphery of the optical part, and the bend area of each of haptic elements contains an area of each haptic element with the minimum width of the haptic element.

EFFECT: use of this group of inventions will allow for the improvement of distribution of haptic part pressure.
