FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: device comprises a generator of a fireworks type. It is equipped with a lightning impulse meter and a pyrotechnical composition. The pyrotechnical composition forms an ionised channel in the atmosphere as a result of the thermal ionisation of alkali metals. The lightning impulse meter controls a launcher of a pyrotechnical charge from single or multiple launchers when a thunderstorm cloud approaches.
