FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to grinding of materials. Proposed system comprises at least one transducer module interface arranged at the mill or nearby it to receive data from at least one transducer, operator control board connected with said interface to receive the data therefrom, to generate the mill working characteristic and to track said characteristic so that its possible deterioration can be revealed. Note here that one of said transducers is a load transducer connected with spring-loading assy. Operator control board allows data receipt from at least one said transducer module interface and control over received data to define the load at one or several mill grinding wheels. Control procedure consists in application of at least one transducer module interface for reception of data revealed by one or several load transducers connected with spring-loading assy and with said transducer module interface to detect forces transmitted to spring-loading system. Operator control board generates at least one operating data describing at least one operating characteristic of the mill. This board receives data from at least one transducer module interface corresponding to forces detected by said load transducer. It controls said received data to define to load at said mill in time to reveal possible deterioration of working characteristic. Note also that said transducer module interface coverts analogue data into digital data, if required.
EFFECT: more efficient and safe operation of the mill.
