FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: apparatus for generating and displaying alphanumeric and graphic information comprises a power supply, a setting unit and light-emitting elements. The setting unit comprises a microcontroller or a microprocessor, information input buttons, control resistors and current amplifying transistors. The light-emitting elements are in the form of an array, the light flux of which is formed in infrared or ultraviolet wavelength mode. The microcontroller or microprocessor is provided with storage devices which enable to form, through input buttons, an image via an on/off mode for each light-emitting element both in the form of constant illumination of the image on the array of light-emitting elements and successive on/off switching thereof to create a running letters effect.

EFFECT: high volume of transmitted information owing to a wider information display range in a wavelength range which is not directly perceptible to the human eye.
