FIELD: environmental protection.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of environmental protection and can be used to clean the flue gases of industrial facilities in which there is an emission of combustion products into the atmosphere, in particular for trapping pollutants such as NOx, SO2, CO, CO2, and particulate matter from flue gases. Claimed method of integrated cleaning of flue gases. Method includes the sequential transmission of gases through a layer of adsorbent, and then through a layer of redox catalyst based on manganese and copper oxides. In the invention, a filter made of graphitized porous material is used first along the cleaned gases, purifying from mechanical impurities and restoring NO and SO2, then the CO purification unit with layer-by-layer loading of adsorbents, the first layer of which is a zeolite with a pore size of 4-5 angstroms (for example, of the NaA type), second layer is an adsorbent consisting of 50–60 wt.% manganese dioxide MnO2, 20–40 wt.% copper (II) oxide CuO, the binder is the rest (e.g., hopcalite), then the absorption block of nitrogen oxides, carbon and sulfur. As an oxidizing agent hydrogen peroxide is used.
EFFECT: invention allows to clean flue gases from the main impurities: dust, soot, carbon oxides, nitrogen, sulfur – in one line without additional energy consumption with a high degree of purification of flue gases from harmful impurities.
