FIELD: radio engineering, communication.
SUBSTANCE: result is achieved by introducing two fixed passive monopulse course antenna arrays directed in opposite landing directions, one passive monopulse glide antenna array mounted in a given landing direction through corresponding turning in the horizontal plane, as well as introducing a real-time quasi-random air surveillance mode using frequency scanning and monopulse processing of radar echo signals.
EFFECT: higher reliability of operation, real-time surveillance, improved energy and accuracy properties of the approach radar.
