FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gas melting furnace to remelt non-ferrous and alloy wastes, such as: copper and its alloys - brass and bronze, aluminium and its alloys, zinc and its alloys. The furnace contains welded steel casing of cylindrical shape lined with grog refractory bricks "ША-5" with applied on it layer of lining out of mullitic non-shrinkable ramming mixture and above it thick steel plate, with large hole in centre for installation in it and for fixation of the enamelled with trough crucible installed and fixed on the pedestal, lined lid, heat insulation layer between the steel casing and furnace lining, comprising three sheets of flexible heat-insulating mullitesilica cardboard, burner is form of gas two-row decay mixing injection rectangular burner, in which the mixers with nozzles are installed. The furnace rests by two trunnions on the welded frame with possibility of the furnace rotation by angle 110°C, welded out of the channel and secured to the furnace foundation by the foundation bolts, on the frame the electric mechanism of furnace rotation is installed. The fumes exhaust system of the furnace is connected with two-stage system of dust-gas cleaning.

EFFECT: higher furnace capacity, reduced heat and burn-off losses and possibility of ecologically clean remelting of aluminium scrap.
