FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, namely to a gas crucible melting furnace for remelting waste of non-ferrous metals and alloys. The burner apparatus is made in the form of a gas two-row eight-mixer rectangular injection burner containing curved mixers with twelve ribs in each row to provide a flame with a length of 2.8 meters when burning a gas-air mixture, a cowl is made at the beginning of the flue, configured to rotate with a part of the flue to an angle of 65 degrees prior to casting using the rotation mechanism thereof, wherein a metal stand is welded between the posts of the welded frame, the lower part whereof is cast in the foundation of the furnace and the upper part is intended for attaching a steel cable, an electric furnace rotation mechanism configured to interact with the steel cable by means of a drum pulley for winding thereof.
EFFECT: invention provides high productivity of the furnace and a possibility of environmentally sustainable remelting of aluminium scrap, reduces the heat and metal losses.
