SUBSTANCE: furnace comprises a cylindrical body, lining having heat insulating layer consisting of three layers of flexible heat insulation fiber glass mullite silica cardboard and a layer of lightweight chamotte, which is stuffed with the lining layer of mullite non-shrink ramming mass with scull crust, two feed openings formed in front and rear end walls of furnace, tap-hole for molten metal discharging and tap-hole for slag discharging, and a burner device, characterized in that the burner device is designed as two gas injection cylindrical burners embodied in caps, covering the feed openings. Each of these burners has twelve mixers, five of which are equipped with nozzles, are placed at the top in the installation place in the lids of the furnace feed openings, providing a flame with a length 2.4 m, and seven mixers without nozzles are made with the possibility of providing, when burning, a gas-air mixture with flame with a length 1.5 m. The furnace has two rotary lined gutters with welded lined cups mounted on the trolley which can be moved on the trolley along the rails to the tap-hole for molten metal discharging and back by means of an electric drive, and a flue is made in each lid closing the feed opening. The furnace is arranged to operate on natural and artificial draft with two-stage gas scrubbing system providing an environmentally friendly process and comprising a mixing chamber, exhauster, two-piece gas scrubbing unit and unit cyclones.
EFFECT: low heat loss, increased productivity and longer furnace life.
