FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention envisages energy converter (3), which converts energy of multiphase alternating current directly to energy of alternating current. Conversion circuit includes multitude of the first switching elements (311, 313 and 315) and multitude of the second switching elements (312, 314 and 316), both of them coupled to energy phases R, S, T of multiphase alternating current in order to ensure switching of bidirectional current carry capability. Capacitors (821-826) are provided between phases. Input contact leads of the first switching elements and input contact leads of the second switching elements are made to shape the respective lines. Some capacitors out of their multitude (821 and 822) are made so that they may be placed at angle in regard to the direction of contact leads layout.
EFFECT: distance of field connections between capacitors and switching elements may be reduced.
