SUBSTANCE: energy conversion device (3) for conversion of energy of multiphase alternating current directly into the alternating current energy is described. The conversion circuit comprises a set of the first switching devices (311, 313, 315) and a set of the second switching devices (312, 314, 316) connected, respectively, with the phases R, S, T of energy of multiphase alternating current and implemented with a possibility to provide operation of electric switching in both directions. The output lines (331, 332) formed by means of a pair of electric buses are connected to the conversion circuit. The first switching devices and the second switching devices are arranged in such a way that output contact leads are placed in a row. The output lines (331, 332) are connected to the output contact leads and are extended rectilinearly in one direction.

EFFECT: output line length decrease.
