The converter circuit has a set of switching elements (311, 313, 315, 312, 314 and 316) which are connected to each phase R, S or T of energy of multiphase alternating current to provide switching for activation of bidirectional current-carrying ability. At least three capacitors (821-826) are provided between the converter circuit phases. Three capacitors, respectively, are located in corners of a triangle in the plane parallel with the assembly surface of the component on which the switching elements are actually mounted.
EFFECT: possibility of reduction of distance of assembly connections between the capacitors and the switching elements.
