FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: production of fine fraction for fabrication of hydraulic binder from mineral stock at appropriate plant. The latter comprises crusher and separator to separate said stock to two fractions. Proposed process consists in making of said mineral stock partially or fully composed of metallurgical slag to be crushed by grinder to get ground product. Ground product is separated by said separator to fine and coarse fractions. Coarse fraction is returned to crusher for reiterated grinding. Metal impurities are separated from mineral stock, a portion of ground product being subjected to magnetic separation. Sorting is performed either on coarse fraction or downstream of separator and upstream of crusher, or between crusher and separator before separation of ground product. This plant comprises crusher and separator including dynamic separator equipped with rotor with vertical axle including dynamic separator equipped with rotor with vertical bladed axle. Dynamic separator can sort particles by grain size at subjecting said particles to opposite forces. Plant comprises first conveyor means to carry ground product from crusher outlet to separator inlet. Second conveyor means carry coarse fraction from separator outlet to crusher inlet. Magnetic device can separate at least a portion of metal impurities and interact with first and/or second conveyor means.
EFFECT: production of fine fraction to be used in production of hydraulic binder, for example, cement.
