FIELD: instrumentation.

SUBSTANCE: device includes a control unit connected to control inputs of a generator circuit, a receiving circuit, an unit for formation of a fan of directivity characteristics, a processing unit, an indication unit and an unit for determining spatial position of zones of repeated location. Besides, the device includes an acoustic antenna connected to the output of the generator circuit and to the input of the receiving circuit, the output of which is connected to an in-series connected unit for formation of the fan of directivity characteristics, the processing unit and the indication unit. The output of the unit for determining the ship's position is connected to a calculation device of a visibility zone reduction coefficient, the output of which is connected to an additional input of the processing unit and to the input of the control unit; the second output of the unit for determining the ship's position is connected to the input of the unit for determining spatial position of repeated location zones, the output of which is connected to the second additional input of the processing unit.

EFFECT: higher measurement accuracy.
