SUBSTANCE: fuel combustion method using the existing air burner (1), with that, air burner (1) includes the first supply hole (5) for fuel and the second supply hole (7) for air, with that, supply holes (5, 7) are opened to combustion zone (3). The invention differs by the fact that gaseous fuel with LHV (low heat value) less than 7.5 MJ/Nm3 is supplied through the second supply hole (7) and by the fact that an oxidising agent containing at least 85 weight percent of oxygen is also supplied to combustion zone (3) through an oxidising agent supply device, as well as by the fact that gaseous fuel is burnt with the oxidising agent in combustion zone (3).
EFFECT: invention is aimed at reduction of costs at fuel combustion processes.
