FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: micropower photosensor having a frequency output comprises a photodiode, the cathode of which is connected to the input of a logic inverter, the output of which is connected to the first lead of a resistor, a field-effect transistor, the gate of which is connected to the second output of the resistor, and the source and drain of the field-effect transistor are connected to the input of the logic inverter, the logic inverter being an inverting Schmitt trigger, the anode of the photodiode is connected to a null circuit, and the output of the Schmitt trigger is the output of the device.
EFFECT: high sensitivity, wider dynamic range of converting radiation into a pulse frequency and low power consumption.
