FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the biological method of protection of forest stands and can be used in the technology of mass obtaining the entomophage culture for the subsequent release into the sources of forest pests. The proposed method comprises the use of insect-host, in which entomophage Chouioia cunea Jang develops, as pupae of emperor moths Samia cynthia ricini (Boisduval, 1854).
EFFECT: invention enables to increase the yield of entomophages and to improve its biological parameters while growing the insect-host pupae.
