SUBSTANCE: invention refers to a disposable open absorbent diaper (2) used for incontinence, having a body (4) comprising a front piece (6) with front side longitudinal edges (42), a back piece (8) with back side longitudinal edges (41) and a perineum piece (10) extending in between longitudinally (28) and applied through the user's legs; the body (4) comprises an absorbent body (12); the diaper also contains back side pieces (20) attached from both sides to the back piece (8) and front side pieces (22) attached from both sides to the front piece (6); the side pieces extend in the transversal direction (30) behind the side front and back longitudinal edges (42, 41) of the body (4); the back side pieces (20) comprise fasteners (32) neighbouring leg holes and provided with accessory fasteners; the fasteners (32) are detachably attachable on at least an outside of the front side pieces (22) so that it makes it possible to couple the front piece (6) and the back piece (8) together, whereas a lower edge (64) is arched in order to shape back areas (51) of the leg holes; the diaper is characterised by the fact that the lower edge (64) of the back side piece (20) has a dome-shaped area (44) with a bending point P; a length A/width B ratio of the lower edge (64) of the back side piece (20) makes from 0.40 to 0.90, whereas a longitudinal margin E of the bending point P is related to its transversal margin F as 0.15 to 0.80.
