FIELD: physics, atomic power.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to nuclear engineering, particularly transportation, unloading and placement of bundles of fuel elements of a RBMK-1000 reactor in dry storage rabbits. The container casing includes, mounted a lower diaphragm, a centre tube, tubular elements (sockets) for withdrawal cassettes, rigidly connected to each other by crossbars in multiple decks. The crossbars have coaxial openings to form cells for holding ampoules with bundles of fuel elements. In the diaphragm, inside the sockets and under the cells, there are spring-loaded end elements, which are provided with a mounting disc connected to their upper part inside the socket and with mounting pads under the cells. The total force of the spring-loaded end elements, placed under the cells in the crossbars, is set based on the number of spring-loaded end elements and the weight of the ampoules loaded with bundles of fuel elements.
EFFECT: enabling transportation of bundles of fuel elements with normal and high rectilinearity and external diameter values, as well as interaction of tubular ampoule dampers, located in the cells of lateral crossbars with spring-loaded end elements independent of the mutual arrangement thereof.
