FIELD: chemistry; nanotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: method for synthesis of Ag/C nanocomposites involves preparation of a combined solution of polyacrylonitrile (PAN) and silver nitrate in dimethyl formamide (DMF), holding until complete dissolution of all components, removing dimethyl formamide by evaporation and heating the obtained solid residue. Preparation of a combined solution of polyacrylonitrile and AgNO3 in dimethyl formamide is carried out at temperature of 30–70 °C in the following ratio of components: polyacrylonitrile 4.7 %, dimethylformamide 93.8–94.6 %, AgNO3 0.7–1.5 %. Evaporation of dimethyl formamide is carried out at 60–80 °C. Stepwise infrared heating of the obtained solid residue is carried out at pressure of 10-2–10-3 mm Hg. First, preheating is carried out for 5–15 minutes at 80–200 °C with heating rate of not more than 50 °C/min. Final heating is carried out for 5–15 minutes at 80–700 °C with heating rate of not more than 50 °C/min.
EFFECT: invention simplifies production of nanocomposites including silver Ag nanoparticles with size of 19–28 nm in a carbon matrix without using additional external reducing agents.
