FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method provides sampling deep water from the Lake Baikal, filtering it and pre-sterilising by UV radiation; one portion of the deep water is saturated with ozone, and the other one - with pressurised food-grade gas. The ozone-saturated deep water is bottled, added with the water containing the pressurised food-grade gas, and the bottles are sealed. Ozone in the sealed bottles sterilises the water with food-grade gases, an inner free surface of the bottle and sealing. The ozone concentration in the mixed water is reduced to 0.2-0.5 mg/l. The water containing the pressurised food-grade gas can be added to the deep water either during the bottling, or thereafter, immediately before the sealing. The food-grade gases can be: nitrogen, argon, hydrogen, nitrogen monoxide, carbon dioxide.
EFFECT: producing the sterilised long-storage water with the improved taste.
