FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: tuberosity is reduced; a plate is placed onto its anterior surface along an anatomical axis of tibia; the plate is pre-shaped taking into account anatomical features of the tibial tuberosity. A drill is inserted into proximal and distal holes of the plane; screw ducts are formed so as to come apart at an angle of 49 to 50 angular degrees; when determining a degree of screw deflection, 0 angular degrees is a conventional boundary extending in the sagittal direction through the mid-length of the plate and perpendicular to a long axis of an external plate. The screws are selected taking into account the formed ducts, inserted into the plate holes and delivered into the ducts with their ends brought out at 1 mm to 5 mm.
EFFECT: method enables reducing the number of complications, preventing shearing load of quadriceps muscle of thigh and reducing the length of immobilisation.
