FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to gynaecology. Method includes registration of diagnostic parameter in the process of treatment. As diagnostic parameter in the process of carrying out tibial electrostimulation used is stiffness gradient of pelvic floor levator muscles, obtained in carrying out transvaginal sonoelastography. If its value is equal or is lower than 2 kPa, carrying out tibial electrostimulation is considered to be ineffective. If value of stiffness gradient of pelvic floor levator muscles is higher than 2 kPa, carrying out tibial electrostimulation is considered to be effective.
EFFECT: methods provided screening prediction of tibial electrostimulation effectiveness in treatment of pelvic prolapse.
