SUBSTANCE: in a wireless network supporting aggregation of component carriers of an uplink, sounding reference signals, SRS, are transmitted (62) on the primary component carrier of the uplink (UL). Activation command is received (64), which corresponds to the secondary component carrier (SCC) of UL, in response to which the receiving receiver-transmitter determines (65), whether it has actual information on time synchronisation for SCC UL; with that, actual information on time synchronisation for SCC UL indicates that SCC UL is synchronised to UL. In response to that determination, transmission of sounding reference signals (SRS) to SCC UL is allowed (66) if SCC UL is synchronised when SRS is configured for SCC UL. Otherwise, transmission of SRS to SCC UL is prohibited (68) until SCC UL is synchronised to UL.

EFFECT: reduction of a pass-band of reception and consumption of a battery.
