FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railroad transport. The method consists in DGS technical condition evaluation where rheostatic tests are conducted for locomotives having DGS operation parameter deviations exceeding 5% which deviations are identified based on analysis of rheostatic tests preceding commissioning inspection. In this process, at first deviations are identified, and then practicability (P) of rheostatic tests is determined on the basis of time when the last test recorded by on-board HSS has been conducted, interrepair time period Tpc which is assumed in the interval of 40…50 (45+/-5) days as follows: P (not practical) when Tpc≤45 days - to account results of rheostatic tests conducted after previous running repairs; P (not practical) when Tpc≥45 days and technical condition determining parameter combination coincide with standard parameters - next rheostatic tests to be conducted as per planned maintenance schedule; P (practical) when Tpc≥45 days and technical condition determining parameter combination does not coincide with standards - the rheostatic tests to be conducted during commissioning inspection in the volume of control tests.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of rheostatic tests conduction practicability determination.
