FIELD: physics, optics.
SUBSTANCE: set of contact lenses comprises three groups of lenses. Each group consists of composite lenses which provide a spherical power in the range of -12.00 to +8.00 dioptres with an increment of 0.50 dioptres and an additional optical power in the range of about 0.75 to 2.50 dioptres with an increment of 0.25 dioptres. Lenses of the first, second and third groups have, respectively, average monocular weighted distance coefficients dA, dB and dC and average monocular weighted closeness coefficients nA, nB and nC. Each of the lenses of the first, second and third groups have an optical power profile different from that of a lens from another group, wherein dA>dB>dC and nA<nB<nC.
EFFECT: improved presbyopia correction and shorter production time owing to use concurrent lens pairs, which provide good binocularity and sharpness of vision at short, medium and long distances.
