FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: method of inhibiting thrombus formation and acceleration of fibrinolysis with DNA aptamers (oligonucleotides) inhibiting the activity of thrombin is described. In the method DNA aptamer is used, characterized by nucleotide sequence GTGACGTAGGTTGGTGTGGTTGGGGCGTCAC and conjugated on 5'or 3' end with a NH2 group and/or polyethylene glycol (PEG), and meeting the general formula d-R-GTGACGTAGGTTGGTGTGGTTGGGGCGTCAC-R, where d is deoxyribose, at that the oligonucleotide comprises deoxyribose in all positions, R is NH2 group and/or PEG.
EFFECT: invention can be used to enhance the efficiency of antithrombotic and fibrinolytic therapy.
