FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: inventions group relates to a method and to a device for food products appearance improvement. Browning substances are applied or sprayed onto food products (52) during their manufacture with the help of one or several heads (62a, 62b) for controlled atomised spraying; such heads are made of materials intended for food products treatment. According to the more preferable versions of the invention implementation, the spraying heads (62a, 62b) are controlled by means of a controller, for instance, by a programmable PC depending on information obtained from sensors, for instance, an electromechanical or optical sensor (54) or an image sensor (54). The controller and sensors function in such a way that various food products have chosen browning substances that are properly applied or sprayed without wastes or excessive spraying.
EFFECT: inventions group usage will allow to manufacture products (53) improved with browning substances.
