SUBSTANCE: beverage cooking or preparation chamber (1) of the beverage preparation apparatus is applicable for receiving and extraction of a portion capsule (27, 29) that is filled with powdered or liquid base products for beverage preparation and completely or partially consists of electrically conducive material; such beverage cooking or preparation chamber (1) consists of the chamber first, stationary part (2) equipped with opening means (25) for opening the portion capsule (27, 29) for beverage release and is connected to the beverage drainage structure (6, 7, 8) downstream the liquid supply as well as of the second part (3) that is designed so that to enable movement in a horizontal or vertical direction relative to the chamber first part (2) for the portion capsule (27, 29) provision with diffusion water, is connected to the diffusion water supplying pump (37) downstream the liquid supply and is equipped with piercing means (11, 12) for the portion capsule (27, 29) opening and for diffusion water introduction into the portion capsule (27, 29); the beverage cooking or preparation chamber (1) is opened for the portion capsule (27, 29) receiving and is closed for the portion capsule (27, 29) extraction; the chamber specificity is as follows: electrically conductive contacts (13, 16, 19, 22) (that represent the ends of interrupted control circuit (30) of the control device (34) and are electrically insulated from each other) are positioned in the first part (2) and/or in the chamber second part (3); in proximity to the fully electrically conductive portion capsule (27) positioned in the closed beverage cooking or preparation chamber (1), the electrical contact (19) of the chamber first part (2) and the electrical contact (13) of the chamber second part (3) and in an electrically conductive contact with the portion capsule (27); alternatively, in proximity to the electrically conductive portion capsule (27) positioned in the closed beverage cooking or preparation chamber (1), within at least one electrically conductive zone (27a) of the portion capsule (27, 27a), the electrical contacts (13, 16) of the chamber second part (3) are in an electrically conductive contact with the electrically conductive zone (27a) of the portion capsule (27); alternatively, in proximity to the portion capsule (27, 29) with an electrically conductive closing element (28) in the form of a lid, the electrical contacts (19, 22) of the chamber first part (2) are in an electrically conductive contact with the electrically conductive closing element (28) in the form of a lid while the control circuit (30) of the control device (34) is closed.
