FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pyrotechnics, particularly to incendiary pyrotechnic compositions which trigger ignition and combustion of the functional charge of different special articles and munitions. The pyrotechnic incendiary composition includes, wt %: barium nitrate 7-21, aluminium-magnesium alloy powder 11-25, trinitrotoluene as binder 2-4 and recycled tetranitropentaerytrite 50-80. The invention enables to recycle a conversion blasting agent - tetranitropentaerytrite - in a pyrotechnic incendiary composition as an energy-saturated component of a thermal composition.
EFFECT: obtained composition is easily producible, suitable for processing into charges by extrusion, and also increases the rate and temperature of combustion thereof.
