SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of hydraulic engineering and nature preservation construction, hydrology, bridge construction and may be used to ensure safety of bridge operation, prevention of emergency situations and possible flooding of settlements as a result of blocking of bridge span openings with damaged trees, driftwood and bushes. The device comprises a wall from reinforced concrete beams, which are mounted with the help of holes. The wall is made in the form of cross-like reinforced concrete beams with holes mounted on a longitudinal beam at distances or T-shaped reinforced concrete beams 4, mounted on the longitudinal reinforced concrete beam 3 with holes at distances.

EFFECT: proposed device makes it possible to retain floating trees, bushes and driftwood without development of backwater.
