FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: implemented is an algorithm to measure dosages of vitamins and mineral substances (nutrients) to be taken to recover and maintain an adult's body saturated within the normal physiological limits if observing a deficiency or excess in blood serum, and thereby to keep the metabolic balance. Based on the algorithm, the invention enables determining a dose versus change characteristic curve that is consumed doses of certain nutrients, mg/kg of body weight and respective changes in the blood serum nutrients concentrations, mcg/ml; the above dose versus change curve, as well as a measured physiological reference daily nutrient intake and body weights and sexes of the people being tested are used to determine an optimal dose of the nutrients having the subnormal blood serum concentrations; the above optimal dose is considered necessary to recover and maintain the body saturated with vitamins and minerals within the normal physiological reference limits; if the nutrients appear to exceed the physiologically normal blood serum concentrations, the nutritional status is supposed to be corrected by a dieting expert and a nutrition specialist to ensure the physiologically normal status of metabolic processes.
