FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the machine building, namely to robotic engineering, and can be used during creation of the mechatronic modular robots. The mechatronic modular robot consists of at least two interfaced modules, preferably two and more, initial and newly interfaced with it, at that the interface of each new module with the previously assembled is performed along the selected direction, and is ensured by connection of its first interface pad with one of free pads on any other structural elements occupying the nearest extreme position in one or another row.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of orientation in the environment of the re-configured mechatronic devices, preferably mechatronic modular robots.
