FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: agricultural machine comprises a feed mechanism adjustable by height, to which a cutting or a collecting system for plants is fixed on its front side. The agricultural machine is equipped with a hydraulic lifting device to control height of the feed mechanism relative to the machine. The lifting device comprises a lifting system, comprising a beam element and a hydraulic cylinder. The beam element by means of a hinged joint is connected to the feed mechanism in the first point of rotation. The hydraulic cylinder is made as capable of applying force to the beam element in the second point of rotation. The lifting system comprises a bracket, hingedly connected to the machine in the third point of rotation. The hydraulic cylinder with its other end is hingedly connected to the bracket in the fourth point of rotation.
EFFECT: use of the group of inventions provides for reliable fixation of a grinder downstream a harvester, which makes it possible to grind stems left after harvesting.
