SINGLE-FIBRE MULTIPOINT LASER PROBE FOR OPHTHALMOLOGICAL ENDOILLUMINATION Russian patent published in 2015 - IPC A61F9/09

Abstract RU 2560902 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to field of medicine. Ophthalmological endoilluminator contains: light source, made with possibility of light emission; first optic unit, connected with light source, with first optic unit being made with possibility of reception and collimation of light from light source; optic connecting element, with optic connecting element being made with possibility of receiving collimated white light from first optic unit; optic fibre, optically connected with optic connecting element, with optic fibre being made with possibility of passing white light into eye; and optical lattice, connected with distal end of optic fibre. Optical lattice contains lattice with relief surface; and covering layer, optically connected with lattice with relief surface. Optical lattice is made with possibility of falling light diffraction on N diffraction orders. N diffraction orders have uniform intensity. In particular case uniform intensity is achieved when optical lattice is submerged into air or salt solution. Method of illuminating internal eye area contains the following stages: light generation by light source; collimation of light; optical introduction of white light into optic fibre for obtaining optic output signal; optic connection of optic output signal with fibre of ophthalmological endoilluminator with optic connecting element; and passing optic output signal by fibre of ophthalmological endoilluminator in order to illuminate internal eye area.

EFFECT: application of claimed group of inventions will provide structured illumination.
