FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine. An illuminated microsurgical instrument comprises: microsurgical instrument having a distal end and proximal end and comprising an external reflecting surface near the distal end of the microsurgical instrument; and an optical fibre for light supply to a surgical field. The optical fibre comprises a proximal end to receive the light from a light source and a distal end arranged between the distal and proximal ends of the microsurgical instrument to emit the light. The distal end comprises an oblique face directed oppositely from the distal end of the microsurgical instrument.
EFFECT: using the given invention enables reducing the number and size of incisions in performing surgical operations.
