FIELD: woodworking industry.
SUBSTANCE: method of impregnation of porous materials comprises loading the material into the chamber followed by sealing, creation of vacuum in the chamber, filling it with the impregnating liquid, setting the material, pumping the liquid, and extraction of the material from the chamber. The volume of the impregnated porous material is selected equal to the volume of the chamber. Filling the impregnating liquid to the chamber is carried out while pumping the air to complete filling the chamber. The temperature of the impregnating liquid is 60°C. The device for impregnating porous materials comprises a hermetically sealable impregnation chamber, a bath for impregnating liquid, a vacuum pump and a liquid pump interconnected by the system of pipes and valves. The device for impregnating porous materials additionally comprises a container for the product, made mesh with the upper and lower caps and a hook. The bath for the impregnating liquid is provided with a stirrer and a heating system. The suction pipe of the vacuum pump is connected with a tight cover of the impregnation chamber.
EFFECT: improved quality of impregnation.
