FIELD: treatment of wood. SUBSTANCE: method involves filling impregnation chamber with material to be treated and impregnating liquid; hermetically sealing the chamber and abruptly connecting it to vessel, where deep vacuum is preliminary created by means of vacuum pump, with rapid connection of impregnation chamber with vessel being effectuated by means of vacuum gate provided with trigger mechanism; shutting off gate after vacuumizing process is over and connecting impregnation chamber with bath through pipe system and cocks; creating excessive pressure by liquid pump and holding the material under this pressure for time period specified in regulations; switching on liquid pump and pumping solution out of chamber; opening impregnation chamber and discharging treated material. Thus impregnation cycle is over.
