FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method of obtaining transparent metal-containing polymerisable compositions, intended for the production of materials for lighting equipment, optic- and micro equipment selectively absorbing electromagnetic radiation, is realised by the interaction of soluble salts of metals or their mixtures with organic sulphur-containing compounds in molar ratios, which do not exceed 1:1.5, as the reaction medium styrene and/or ethers of (meth)acrylic acid are applied with the molar ratio in a mixture of styrene to ethers of (meth)acrylic acid from 0 to 1, with heating in the interval of temperatures of 70-90°C for 5-20 minutes.
EFFECT: increased light-absorbing in the interval of a wavelength of 300-500 nm and light transmission at a wavelength larger than 500 nm, homogeneity, stability of compositions, composition processibility.
