FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the chemistry and technology of materials that convert electromagnetic radiation, which can be used for lighting, optoelectronics and microelectronics. Luminescent composition based on esters of (meth)acrylic acid contains zinc sulfide and copper ions in a concentration of from 0.00010 to 0.010 mol/(l of polymerization composition).
EFFECT: invention provides an optically transparent material that luminesces in the region of 400–550 nm with a maximum in the region of the blue spectral range.
